Silly little sketch I did at work of Furc/StM Noxxul nailing his (its) finger to the floor.  At first it was going to just be him in a ‘ready to pounce’ kind of pose, then he got an extended arm, which was originally going to be on the tail of some poor hapless creature… which eventually turned out to be himself.

If you’re really pro, you can just about make out his RP stats using a modified new-WoD system used for describing the denizins of the otz’chim.

Noxxul is a Yessouri, one of the native, cat-like inhabitants of Sephira Yessod.  Colloquially known as ‘cheshires’, mostly due to the fact that every single one of them is – to some extent at least – stark raving mad.  The Yessouri are generally seen to possess the gift of prophecy, but they’re also highly unpredictable and almost incomprehensible to most of the other races of the Otz’Chim.  Since the establishment of the Necropolis of Yessod, they’ve become increasingly rare; it’s generally thought the Lich Lords keep them as very exotic pets-cum-soothsayers.  Noxxul is considered insane even by Yessouri standards; it’s arguable whether ‘he’ is even sentient.  The mek-plugs along his arms, legs and back suggest that at some point he may have been traded as a slave to the Houdi, and it’s possible their experimentation fried his brains.  On the other hand, he might have just been born like that.  Noxxul doesn’t speak (which isn’t necessarily to say he can’t) and does not seem to experience pain.  He is unpredictable and often violent, though arguably not sociopathically so; he can and does from attachments to other people, and seems to possess at least a basic grasp of language (it’s highly likely he possesses a translator implant).  Surprisingly, he is quite adept at fixing and creating mek, making him something of an idiot savant.

Oh, and The Good Guys pulled through; I got my steamer.  Yay!  Everyone at work looked at me like I was nuts… well, everyone except the gothchick.
