It Ain't New, But Don't Tell Them...

Monday, 2:50 pm in Storytime

I was kinda lurking about my D:Words folder the other day, what with all the Info urbannordica editing I’ve been doing, and I got an email in from FFNet with another review on Untitled 5 (yeah yeah, I’m hopeless with thinking up titles for my stories, so shoot me).  You know, “Great story! Write more!” that kind of thing. Since I was already stuffing about in my .docs folder, I remembered that I had another chapter for the story that I hadn’t bothered to post up the last time because it was ‘unfinshed’. ‘Unfinished’ here means it was 5,000 odd words already but I was shooting for double that so didn’t want to post it.  Anyway, last night on a whim I decided what the hell, and threw it up on FFnet. Since it went up I’ve gotten no less than six gushing reviews and, hey ma, I finally feel popular. Roflcopters.

Now I’ve got a whole new bucketload of people excited about me finishing the damn thing. I don’t have the heart to tell any of them that the chapter they just read was already over a year old. Untitled 5 will probably just wind up in that Big Bucket of Unfinished Fanfiction in the sky, right alongside Futureloop. Sometimes I go back and read over my old fics, then get really annoyed that the stupid author hasn’t updated them in like three years! What the fuck is up with that!

Heh.

I ordered a bunch of stuff from Bombshell Bath the other day; mostly things like lime green lip gloss and eyeshadow. Really practical for my new job next year! On the plus side, it should go with the skirt and top I bought from QuantumFlux about a month ago. The ones that still haven’t arrived; sadpanda. If they’re not here by Friday I’m going to email the lady… again. She makes to order, so I’m cool with waiting the month or so turnaround that she has, and I don’t want to seem like I’m bugging her, really, but I’m kinda leery about the mail here at uni (I’m just really, really glad it didn’t eat my government stuff!) so I’m keen to know when she sends them. I feel in the mood to buy new clothes; get some more leet shit from Plastik Wrap. I was hella impressed with the quality of the Trinidy dress I got there a while ago, and am itching to buy some more practical things (as cool as the dress is, it’s not all that practical for everyday wear) like this or this. Or this or this or… Uh, yeah. Good ol’ Hot Topic (lolz) has some t-shirts I want, too, but I’m still kinda pissy at them for dicking me around last time. (They wanted me to call them to confirm my order. I was like, go to hell, Hot Topic. I’m not wasting an international phone call on you when you don’t even bother to give me an international number.)

Ah, so much cool shit, so little money. I can see I’m going to be hopeless next year. Must save up for house! Must buy car! Must not waste money on useless fashion items! … yeah right.

I should go watch MPD Psycho. Aah, Miike, you crazy guy!

You know…I feel the same. 0__o My money problems and me…eh…I want something, but I end up getting it anyway, and I worry about paying for it later. But someone else (usually family member) will wonder where this “thing” on the desk came from! I have cable bills to pay, and I don’t even watch it at all! There is nothing ON!!

What….what? “Untitled 5” is a GREAT title for your fanfic, and even if its outdated, I loved ITTTTT. You should be proud. Can I dig your trash bucket? I want to finish your story for you. j/k.
Nice to randomly fall into your blog (?) page It was a great trip and I intend to stay while I can. grin.png
