I’ve done the same sort of thing for Mulholland Drive and the Buffy episode Restless recently. They’re interesting theories, but alot of the people who tend to write the Buffy ones know nothing..

    Mulholland Drive… I would’ve thought that was pretty self-explanatory…
Oh, wait… I’m thinking of Arlington Road, my bad. sweatdrop.png Haven’t seen Drive, now that I come to think of it. It always struck me as being one of those wanky postmodern films everyone thinks is so-oo original when really all it does it rip a buch of entry-level theories off people like Foucault (sp?) and Derrida (sp? again), stitch them together with the “are they or aren’t they insane” thread and wrap it all up in a trendy soundtrack (qv. my hatred for NGE and Lain)…

It’s Lynch. Lynch is above postmodern.
Lynch’s work for the most part, is nothing like NGE and Lain in terms of the post modernist stuff in all of them.
