It Works, but It's... Wrong

Sunday, 4:14 pm in Geeking

Spent a fruitful day installing Red Hat Linux (and not thinking about Her) on my system. Fortunatley, both Windows and Red Hat seem to be co-existing fairly peacefully. Unfortunatley, fdisk is not being so nice to Partition Magic, which means that my partitions are screwed and Linux is mounting / onto itself instead of hda07 like it’s supposed to. So it works, but it’s wonky.

Alarmingly, Dad was peering over my shoulder when I was using Linux and grudgingly accepted that it “looked okay” and “seemed to have more features than Windows”. Awww, methinks he likes it. Miracles will never cease.
