It's Sexist, No Really
Monday, 8:14 pm in Archive
I feel like such a oldskool elitist bastard. I used to really like AG. It was smallish and you kind of knew everyone there, maybe about a dozen people posted regularly, and it was nice.
It’s not nice anymore. It suddenly got popular and is now crawling with noobs, and I’ve gotten into two fights (I try and restrain myself, seeing as how I like the place and respect the admins… well, okay not that one) in as many days. The really ironic thing being that the second one at least wasn’t even with a new member; it was with an old member, another guildmaster at that. It basically went something like this:
Noob: Any all-female guild out there?
Him: Hur hur… all female guilds. What would they do? Sit around cooking and tailoring?
Me: Thanks a lot, Mr. Sexist.
Him: I’m not sexist, I just believe men and women are different! (Read: Women should cook my dinner and do my housework while I play WoW!)
Yeah… uh-huh. Like I said, AG isn’t fun anymore. Oh well.
Oh, and I also want to strangle this person. It was you!

so does this mean I can troll them now?

Sad isn’t it… I think it’s because AG has been getting alot of coverage in gaming mags and mags like atomic that attract a variety of ppl… And damn it i like cooking and tailoring!

The thing is… Star8urst isn’t even a new member. He’s the GM of Black and he’s been there since before I was. o__O
Just the whole atmosphere of the place has slid downhill, I think. People used to barely breathe on each other; now it’s gotten much more aggressive.
