Well… my MD saga has finally come to a close (almost).

For those of you who remember, I ordered a Sony MZN-910 NetMD player off BuyQuick on the 3rd or so. I’ve been waiting for it ever since. So today dad was Out and happend to ask around at a few local places for prices. He found some alright deals, and after work we went back to check them out. The first place we went to was Domayne, who had the 910 in stock for $710-ish. We were having a look at them all and dad mentioned to the guy that we weren’t going to buy it because I could get a better price elsewhere. The guy asked where and how much, and I said “$630, the internet”. The guy hemmed and hawed and bit and went away to talk to his manager. Meanwhile me and dad are standing there talking about how high I was prepared to go if they couldn’t do $630.

The guy came back.

I walked out $630 poorer (well dad did; I need to money back from the cancelled BuyQuick order back before I can pay him) and one MD player richer. Not just an MD player, but 5 MDs, a pair of headphones, an MD case and a Sony Walkman bag richer (it was osme special deal).

So now I have an MD player.
