Am feeling a little better today about my teeth after my consult with the oral surgeon. He seems like a nice guy, South African, I think (but here a long time), middle-ageish with one of those modern holistic approaches to medicine. He was very good with explaining everything and his post-op practices seem really good. Anyway, two things made me feel kind of better; one was I actually had a decent look at my teeth x-rays and found out that my three wisdom teeth don’t actually have developed roots which means they’ll come out a lot easier, and the second was I found out I will be asleep under the sedation (and not in a paralytic way like under anesthetic; I didn’t realise they actually paralyse you under general). So yeah, still not leaping over the moon about it, but… meh.

Afterwards I went into Woden and bought a whole bunch of stuff from the Korean shop. All my Werewolf stationery (can’t run a good game without Order), which was fortunate since the guy from the gaming shop sent me an email saying he shipped my books today so I should get them before lunch tomorrow. I love Express Post, especially when I don’t have to pay for it (the guy said they’d express post me my stuff since it took a while to ship in from America through customs which seems to be being a bit bitchy lately). So that was all good.

Finally, the most gooderest thing of the day was going into Harvey Norman (haven’t been into a computer games store for ages) and finding that not only is Bloodmoon out for Morrowind, but Master of Orion 3 is as well. After some careful deliberation I got the latter (and was very disappointed to note there aren’t any good looking races left anymore). So that’s what I’ve been doing all day.

Oh yeah, and I found the DVD of Noam Chomski’s Power and Terror in between Payback and Predator in David Jones as well, so now I am all Chomski’d up (I am also reading Power and Terror and have another of his books lined up for after).

So today has been good. ~Mat [h] is not on MSN, so I choose to believe that he’s getting to bed early to come down tomorrow… that would be extra extra nice.

The internet connection here is unreasonably slow…
