MTV is Off the Air

There was a meme here.  It’s gone now.

That’s really hilarious. I think the only answer I actually ‘knew’ was the one about the Sex Pistols, assuming that was the answer, because I’m reasonably certain I could make a case for it being the New York Dolls. Oh, and the question about ‘Walk This Way’. I must have seen that videoclip about a million times.

And… there’s a ‘New Rock Revolution’? When did this happen? And why do I think most of the bands in it are lame? I must be getting old… no! I refuse to accept that. Music is just getting shitter.

Ah, and Profile tajessa, how can we be part of the MTV Generation when we don’t even get MTV here? I’ve never seen it in my life. Have you?

    New Rock Revolution…I’d like to see half these fucking “rock” bands pelted with their namesake. Only then can they say they’re anything even remotely related to “rock”.

    Grrr.
