Return to FF

Well, today we had ~Mat [h]’s birthday lunch. I had strawberries Romanoff crepes; they were yummy.
Afterwards we went into town to spend some of Mat’s gift vouchers he’s had hanging around for aeons, and took a trip into EB because EB is all cool and shit. I was checking out the prices of Gameboy Advances since I was thinking of buying one to play Crystal Chrnoicles on ~wolf [h]’s GameCube. Mat, who is too good to me, bought me one. And a GameCube cable adaptor thing. And a GameCube memory card (so I don’t save over Wolf’s stuff, and we also think you might need two memory cards to play multiplayer CC anyway).
Mat is far, far too good to me. So now I have no money for the next couple of weeks while I save up to pay Mat back, but that’s okay, because whee! A Final Fantasy I actually feel like playing. I’ll get Tactics for the GBASP as well the next time EB has it and I have an extra $70 to shell out (at the moment I have no games for it, so it’s just kind of a glorified gamepad).
Now I go downstairs again to see if the TV is free…

Well, you don’t need two cards to play Multiplayer, but it does come in handy if you don’t want to progress her game at all; each card can store up to 8 player characters for use in that particular campaign.
BTW, neat thing about the GBASP that you may or may not know; it has no region coding, so you can play games on it from any bloody part of the world. Maybe you can find Tactics online for less…?

Personally I’m still waiting to see if I actually get my copy of FFVII (which wasn’t any cheaper than retail here, bar the fact that it’s so old you can’t buy it anymore) before buying any more games off the ‘net. oO

Seriously? Jesus. FFVII is practically everywhere here, it’s the easiest to find (after FFX). Greatest Hits Collection keeps churning them out.
