Remember that S2 style I was working on the other day?

Well, it's finished. Yup. It’s still basically a more flexible version of Generator (you should be able to link an external style sheet to it to do some really fancy overrides; I haven’t tried it yet, though, and whether it works or not depends a bit on whether I’ve got my inheritance right).

I hear you ask; how do I use this fabulous style?

Well, first you’ll need access to the advanced customization section of S2 (ie. have an Early Adopter or Paid Account). The style itself is layerID #348640 at LiveJournal, if you can do something with that. Otherwise download the source, go into the Advanced Customization section of LiveJournal. Go to “Your Layers”, then “Create Top-Level Layer” of type Layout using Core Version 1. Hit “Create”. You’ll get this bix unhelpful box with two lines in it. Delete those lines. Replace everything in the box with everything in the ‘style.s2’ source file you downloaded before. Hit compile, and hope you don’t get any errors.

If all is well, you have successfully installed Rum & Buggery. Now just go into the standard customization section and play around with stuff. Yay.
