Shatter
Tuesday, 1:26 pm in Archive
My blinds broke. Really, really broke. So now not only do they not go up and down anymore (well, one side does), but when I gave the cord a yank to try and <acronym title=”Fixing through brute force.”>benchthump it back to working, the little plastic thingie that held the cords together shattered so severley that I can’t even find the pieces.
Well then.
Guess it’s off to play SH3 again… maybe this time it won’t crash on me when I go into the toilets (what is it whe SH and toilets?). I was trying to be good and not save often, but no-oo-oo, the game had to crap out on me. Stupid bootleg. I want quality with my piracy, damnit!

Guh…if it keeps giving you trouble, I’ll ask if Tai had the same difficulties with instability.
-
That would be good, because it’s crashed on me twice now.

I had a bit of a read on some Konami forums about it, and apparently instability in the program is reaonsably common. It might be my graphics card (SH games always give my card problems, even though it’s a GForce4 TI, er… 4600 I think, which is not exactly bad, even though I’ve had it for a year), but I don’t know why it would choose to crap out there of all places. The other thing it might be having problems with is me cheating (haha, monsters, eat unlimited SMG bullets!), but I tried without that as well and it still crashed, so..

Haha… on another note… did you notice that when those split head dogs attack Heather they maul her crotch? It’s James all over again!

Hmmm…seeing as how class is pretty boring right now, I looked up the problem; some other people have had problems with crashes and it seems to be a video card issue. I’ll keep looking and report back when I find something that’s more than gamer’s problems…

Whee! Thankyou. ^___^

You could try this…
Game fix?
-
It’s a GForce4 thing, it would seem. Maybe that gamefix will do something.
Konami messageboards thread I found…
Another thread. In fact, the boards themselves may answer more questions than I can.

Nope, still dies.

I had a look at those threads but I have a Ti not an MX, so I figured they weren’t specifically my problem.
Maybe the game just doesn’t like being a bootleg.

Actually, now I’m reading some of these… They recommend GForce FXs or the Radeon 9800 PRO.
Ouch.
Edited 7 Apr 04 @ 1:10 am by loqia.
