I’ve finally gotten around to dicking about with the real next generation of sk.log.

It’s gonna be leet; the biggest improvement will be the ditching of these ugly-ass URLs (eg. somefile.php?aVar=something&thisVar=nothing), and instead using some voodoo URL hiding. So instead of going to /archive.php?postID=1234 you’ll use /x/log/1234. The ‘x’ in there is the voodoo… Trying to figure out how to ditch it while still keeping the uber-neat structure. Probably ModRewrite, I’m guessing. Blergh.

Because the new URL stuff is going to give some people Issues, I’ll have to package two versions of the project, smooth and dirty; the ‘dirty’ package will have to use URLs in the vein of /template.php/art/eta. Ick.

I bet it still won’t have admin functions, though. Heh.
