Sometimes We Can Be So Cruel
Wednesday, 2:28 am in The Soapbox
Sometimes, you just don’t like people.
Sometimes, you don’t even know them.
Sometimes, you just can’t help yourself.
Why are some people just so damn irritating? I actually saw one of said people today, after listening to ~wolf [h]’s long rants on the subject. And then, just because I’m a bum, I crashed a forum and laughed a bit more at the misfortune of people who try too hard. Kids; suicide is not your friend! If depression was fun they wouldn’t call it “depression”! People will find you irritating if you keep harping on about how much pain you’re in and oh god how your life sucks especially since… guess what? It probably doesn’t! Unless you’ve lost all your limbs to gangrene, were forced to wach as your parents were shot, or come from America, I probably don’t have much sympathy for you. And neither does anyone else, for that matter. Mental illness is not fun. Death is not fun. People invariably do not find your illnesses as interesting as you think they should. English is your friend; only invent new words in groups of three or more. And other such useful life advice.
Jesus, look at me. Reduced to a fucking public service announcement. And this, kids, is why I don’t get out much.
