Spending Spree

Well, the last of the spending spree is over. Next pay goes straight into savings. Put my last orders for stuff in today. Over the next few weeks I will be the proud new owner of a 'You Are Dumb' v2.0, Digital Angel (MEK wings!) and glow-in-the-dark power symbol t-shirt. I’ll also have a WACOM intuos2 tablet, and a black-and-red shoulder-length Vinyldiva dreadwig.
I love buying me presents. Unfrortunatley after this lot it’s Back to Poverty, Unistyle.
Ah well. Was good while it lasted.

The Digital Angel T-shirt is very cool. You say “over the next few weeks”…is that how long the order is going to take to come through?

Yeah. International postage and all that. The tablet I’m getting locally, so that should arrive Monday or Tuesday. The stuff from thinkgeek will take probably 5 to 10 days, so not until the end of the week. But the wig needs to be made which will take at least two weeks, plus postage is about another week.
Should hopefully get it before uni starts, though.

Ah, I was tempted to buy the caffeine tee, but after I saw the international shipping costs I decided to wait until I was a bit richer.
Ah, when you do get your wig, do we get to see pictures? :grin:

International shipping at thinkgeek isn’t too bad. It’s pretty standard compared to other places I’ve seen. Anywhere cheaper doesn’t have parcel tracking, so…

International shipping is a first for me, I’ve yet to buy outside of the EU. I generally either get it from Amazon.co.uk or .de, so I don’t really have to worry about it.
Hell…I think I’ll just click the buy button and worry about it later
