You know, a long time ago – back when I was still beginning in PHP and all that – one of the very first include scripts I ever wrote went along the lines of;

if( isset( $x ) )
include( “includes/$x” );
else
include( “includes/default” );

Where $x came from the referral URL in the form index.php?x=info or whatever. Here, look, Matt still uses it.

Anyway, I’ve seen a similar thing pop up on other sites (the latest being steel-talon.com), and I guess I was just kind of wondering… did that come from me? Or somewhere else? Because I think Matt shared the code out to a few people (I think?), and if so…

On the other hand, it could all be just coincidence, but y’know, nothin’ like a bit of ego stroking.

Oh my fucking god… over 41 instances of spyware on my computer. God damn I’ve gotten lazy. Good thing GAIN just made the mistake of popping me up and ad which in turn made me remember to re-install Ad-aware. I fuckin’ love that program.

:music: Bauhaus, “Paranoia, Paranoia”
