Well, I moved out of my huge spacious house yesterday and into my unit. My… huge… spacious… unit…

This place is a fucking palace! It’s freestanding and two stories high – pretty much all the bottom floor is living area. Sure every tap leaks and the kitchen is greasy, but shit… talk about space! There’s not one but four store rooms.

This is my bedroom. It’s only a little bit bigger than last year but it’s just… better. The cieling is vaulted so it’s really high, which makes the place feel much bigger. Unfortunatley it’s a corner room and looks like it may leak. Grr!

The ever-so-exciting upstairs corridor.

(Yes, it’s on the side. Tilt your heads.) This is a shot of the stairwell. Mere tiny camera photos alone cannot portray just how massive it is. It makes the staircases at college look tiny.

A small part of the downstairs common room. I don’t know whose Michael poster that is. It was there when I moved in. Honest.

This is the roof above the stairwell. The entire roof on that side is glass; that includes over the bathroom and toilet as well. Needless to say, the stairs get a bit hot in the summer, but will be nice in the winter.

My other roomate from Canberra just arrived (not ~wolf [h], who reckons she’s coming down on Friday), but other than that it’s just been me. Well, asides from the toothpaste that materialised downstairs overnight. So I think there’s a third person here (possibly in room 1, which is downstairs off the kitchen). Either that or the place is haunted. Woospooky.

Anyway, more people just arrived (an American girl and another guy from Canberra who I don’t think is living here), so better go make nice.
