Upgrade Blarp

Fuck. Apparently someone somewhere upgraded the PHP on my server; which had the lovely effect of breaking my XMLRPC calls (new PHP versions have them built-in).

I didn’t write the XML-RPC journal updating stuff for  sk.log, so I have no idea how to fix this.

Guess I will have to find some time to download new PHP docs, a new local version of PHP, and have a play.

Bugger.

    It’s weird that they added it in a minor update. I wonder if it only came with 4.3.9, or if they just didn’t compile it with the –with-xmlrpc directive on other builds.

    Edit: Actually.. looks like its been around for ages, the functions are in my old-school .chm docs from ages ago, although it was still classified as experimental in those docs. I’ll probably work out how to do it in the christmas holidays if you don’t get around to it.

    I don’t suppose you’d know how to do a template parser would you (like “html html html {_SOMETHINGHERETHATGETSTURNEDINTOPHP_} html html”)?

    ~starfyre [h] has asked me to write some logware for her that includes one, and I have literally NFI how to do it. oO

    That’s how mine works.. I actually use the template parser from phpBB though. I can send you my code (there isn’t actually much in it, I’m too lazy to actually finish it), but it’s enough to show you how it works and how to do iterative stuff with the phpBB parser.

    Edit: Actually, you can just download it all from static, probably just as fast.

    Yeah, that would be sweet actually. I was thinking of ripping out the phpBB parser, since it looks quite sexy.

    Will probably wind up in the next version of sk.log, too… been meaning to fix up templates on this thing for a lo-oo-ong time.
