Very Sage
Sunday, 10:43 am in Bloglife
Well, there you go; November 3rd and I’ve already missed a day in the NaBloPoMo. I blame it on being a Saturday and the fact that I was out of the house for most of the day. That and the fact that telling me I have to do something is the number one way of getting me to stop doing it. Yanno.
Anyway I will just have to make an extra post somewhere along the line to make up for it. I reckon that if I come out of the month with 30+ posts I’m laughing.
Anyway, asides from filling my requisite quotient of posts, I’m also here to let all you people who read this via RSS or my LiveJournal that the site has a new skin! Fancy that!
I think there are still some minor bugs in it to be ironed out, the CSS needs cleaning up like woah, and I haven’t put the random header swap thinger yet. But there you go. Unlike Century, Sage doesn’t do that sidescrolley thingie (well, it does in 800×600, but you can still see all the content) and it has 76% less IE6 retardation. There’s still some – especially in the comments – but… ah fuckit I just. Don’t. Care.
So there you go.

I like it - especially the colours - and because it’s not side-scrolling in my lame screen resolution

Did spot an error you might want to look at.. on the main page you’ve got a parse error in your title tag.

You know… I can’t tell if you’re being serious or not.

The ‘error’ in the title is static; it’s part of the random subtitle rotation and has been since, well, since the first incarnation of sk.log in circa 2001. It’s mostly just there to see who points it out; you’re the first person in about five years.

Well, I was being serious, but I did consider it odd that it had managed to ‘break’ in the title but wasn’t affecting the rest of the page like it normally would.
I don’t know whether or not I should pat myself on the back for being the first to notice, or laugh at myself for being so gullible as to think it was a real error!

Nice
Looks very swank and no scrolling, awesome.
