Well, the first clue was that my computer kept randomly shutting itself down.

The second clue was that it only seemed to do it when I was connected to the Internet.

The third clue involved installing Norton’s firewall to find out a program called msblast.exe was constantly trying to access the internet.

The final clue was [dex=http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.html]Symantec’s writeup of the W32.Blaster.Worm[/dex].

Guess it’s time to update some virus definitions…
