Now that I’ve got Bluetooth working, it’s a perfect opportunity to show off some of the crap I got for Christmas (photos are low-quality, but come on; I took them with a phone).

Firstly my lamp. Pinkish and orangeish with feathers around the bottom. I saw a feathered lamp a long time ago with mum who thought it was cool and said she’d make me one. She never actually got around to doing so, but I think this isn’t a bad substitute.

It doesn’t quite, however, go with my bed spread. This was was made by mum from a green and silver sari we bought whilst up (down?) in Melbourne an age ago. It’s intercut with dark and light grey velvet, ribbons and beads. It can’t get washed, so it has a matching sheet underneath in grey with sari-offcut border. Also comes with plain matching pillow and giant sari-and-velvet Europen pillow. I haven’t actually slept in it yet. In a completley unrelated note; the underside of the duvet is bright red. Mum ran out of grey.

Finally, my frock coat. Authentic Gallery Serpentine, and the pride and joy of my wardrobe. The photo doesn’t do it justice, since it just looks like a big black blob. But my my it’s nice. It’s the only thing that could possibly make me want the winter to come.

I like presents. Shiny, new, fancy presents…
